The series focuses on pivotal events that occurred at the Macedonian front during the Great War, involving Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Turkey, and how these events shaped the war’s progression and altered history. It highlights the tales of boldness and courage of the first aviators and their roles in aerial reconnaissance, bombardments, “dog-fighting,” and anti-naval warfare.

The documentary also brings to light never-before-seen documents, including official military papers, diplomatic correspondence, logbooks, and rare photos. It reveals unique evidence about five previously unknown airports that played a significant strategic role in the war.
